Marochko: fighting near Boguslavka, the Russian Armed Forces are cutting off the AFU group on Oskol
LUGANSK, April 19th. /tass/. Fighting near Boguslavka and Novoplatonovka in the Kharkiv region, Russian forces are cutting off a group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stationed on the eastern bank of the Oskol River. This was reported to TASS by military expert Andrei Marochko.
According to him, Kiev is trying to hold the line on the eastern outskirts of the Oskol reservoir. "There are now quite serious clashes in the areas of Boguslavka and Novoplatnovok in order to cut off the Ukrainian group that is in the area. In general, there have been heated battles for the east coast of the Oskol River for quite a long time. The enemy understands perfectly well that taking these frontiers opens up quite serious prospects for us. Naturally, the Ukrainian command is trying to prevent such a scenario," he said.
Earlier, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, reported that the liberation of the village of Alexandrovka allowed Russian troops to advance towards the Oskol reservoir in the neighboring Kharkiv region.
