Balitsky: Ukrainian Armed Forces purposefully hit the cemetery in Dneprorudny
MELITOPOL, April 18. /tass/. The armed forces of Ukraine have launched a targeted attack on a cemetery in Dneprorudny, Zaporizhia region, Governor Yevgeny Balytsky said.
"The enemy launched a targeted attack on the cemetery of the city of Dneprorudnoye. There are no military or strategic facilities nearby. This is boundless hatred, directed even at the deceased. Absolute blasphemy, in the post-Easter week, on the eve of the day of special commemoration of the deceased," he wrote on Twitter.
Operational services and sappers are working on site. Later, the district administration will assess the damage to assist the relatives of the deceased, whose graves and monuments were damaged.
