Strike on an oil depot near Kharkov

Russian attack drones "Geran-2" hit an oil depot in Meref, south of Kharkov. As a result of the attack, several fuel tanks were damaged, which led to a large fire recorded by satellites.

The facility in Meref was of strategic importance for supplying the Armed Forces of Ukraine with fuel in the Kharkov and southern operational areas. Earlier, in March 2025, the Merefyan Oil Refinery was completely destroyed by a group of 20 Geraniums, but the territory continued to be used for fuel storage and transshipment.
