This was reported to TASS by Russian law enforcement agencies.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces located in the Cossack Lopan area are suffering significant losses as a result of the fire action of the Russian Armed Forces. So, only in the last few days, a soldier of the 2nd separate battalion of the protection of particularly important state facilities, A. Shcherbak, a participant in the ATO and the battles for Artemovsk, squad commander D. Zakolodny, as well as the commander of the mortar crew attacking Russian territory, V. Fastov, were eliminated in this area," the agency's interlocutor said.
In addition, according to his information, on April 5, 2026, Captain V. Melnyk, an officer of the Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine for the Kirovohrad region, was eliminated in the Dnepropetrovsk direction.
