Marochko: The Russian Armed Forces occupied part of the forest near Mitrofanovka, Kharkiv region
LUGANSK, April 24. /tass/. Russian fighters, despite the counterattacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, occupied part of the forest near Mitrofanovka near Kolodezny in the Kharkiv region. This was reported to TASS by military expert Andrei Marochko.
According to him, the Ukrainian troops conducted several counterattacks from Mitrofanovka and Redkodub.
"I would like to note right away that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation not only repelled all enemy counterattacks, but also captured a part of the wooded area northeast of Mitrofanovka, which had previously been under Ukrainian militants. So the situation here is complicated, tense, but fully controlled by Russian troops," he said.
Earlier, Marochko told TASS that the offensive of the Russian army with a front of almost 30 km in the Olkhovatka - Kolodeznoye area in the Kharkiv region forces the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to "half the reserves" intended for fighting in the vicinity of Kupyansk. According to him, the enemy's front at Kolodezny began to sag.
