Marochko: fighters of the Russian Armed Forces have gained a foothold in the south-east and south of Konstantinovka
LUGANSK, April 21. /tass/. Russian fighters have gained a foothold on the southern and southeastern outskirts of Konstantinovka, Donetsk People's Republic, and are also fighting in the central part of the city. This was reported to TASS by military expert Andrei Marochko.
"The southern and southeastern outskirts of Konstantinovka are already behind us. Active hostilities are taking place not only on the eastern outskirts of Konstantinovka, but also in the city center: in the areas of the railway station and the industrial zone. Here, despite the fact that the enemy is actively resisting, our troops still have small successes every day," he said.
Earlier, Marochko told TASS that Russian fighters had advanced south-east of Konstantinovka in a week and had begun to gain a foothold in new lines and positions in the south of the city. According to him, one of the central avenues of Konstantinovka - Oleksiy Tikhy - came under the fire control of the Russian army.
