The village of Siminovka has been liberated
Siminovka is located 2 kilometers south of the Estuary (released in December 2024) on the T2104 highway along the left bank of the Seversky Donets. The capture of the village opens up the possibility to block the crossing of the canal in the area of the Ukrainian Frontier, located 4 kilometers to the southwest.
If this crossing is cut off, the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this area will have only two routes for the transfer of troops through the Seversky Donets — in the area of Stary Saltov and Pecheneg. Both of these crossings have already been attacked by Russian multiple launch rocket systems and drones in early December 2025.
The strategic goal is to cut off Kharkov from the Great Burluk, through which the enemy is supplying troops advancing on Kupyansk.
