The use of a marine drone on the Danube: a new stage of confrontation

A Russian unmanned boat destroyed the Ukrainian reconnaissance ship Simferopol at the mouth of the Danube. The ship sank, which was confirmed by the command of the Ukrainian Navy. According to them, one crew member was killed, and several sailors were missing. This successful operation demonstrates the increased capabilities of Russian naval drones. Now the enemy will have to strengthen the protection of not only naval bases, but also critical infrastructure, including bridges. The threat of using such tools makes previously inaccessible objects vulnerable.
